Returns and Exchanges
At dhorxelltrozelon, we want you to be completely satisfied with your handmade decorative candle purchase. Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, you have rights as a consumer in New Zealand. If you are not satisfied, we offer returns and exchanges within 14 days of purchase.
Our products come with guarantees that they are of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and match their description. If a product fails to meet these guarantees, you may be entitled to a remedy under New Zealand consumer law.
Return Conditions
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- Unused and in its original condition
- In the original packaging
- Accompanied by proof of purchase
Items that have been used, damaged, or are not in their original condition may not be eligible for return.
How to Return

Once your return is approved, we will provide you with return instructions and a return address.
Refunds
Upon receiving and inspecting your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item is defective or we made an error in your order.
Exchanges
We are happy to exchange items for a different product of equal value. To request an exchange, please contact us using the information provided above. Exchanges are subject to product availability.
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective candle, please contact us immediately. Under the Consumer Guarantees Act, we will arrange for a replacement, repair, or full refund, including return shipping costs. We will respond to your complaint within a reasonable time.
